Not yet very well known, the Caribbean Coast is, with no doubts, one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica. There are thousands of reasons that made this region to be ignored by Costa Rica’s inhabitants and tourism, not only historically but also culturally and economically. But, for those that have the privilege to live and know Cahuíta, some of its secrets were revealed.

Talamanca’s region is a multicultural nest strongly influenced by Caribbean and Amerindian cultures. Getting into Cahuíta is like making a journey in time. Life’s rhythm, the music, the language (English-Creole), the climate, the nature and the exotic environment, convince the visitor to drop his way of life and “let it go at Caribbean rhythm”.
